HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY STATEMENT

This statement, together with the policies and procedures forming the Safety Management System sets OSIBEY Engineering Ltd’s policy on Health and Safety at Work for all its business undertakings.

As Directors of OSIBAY Engineering Ltd (OBEL), we recognize and accept the responsibilities we have to all those who may be affected by our business activities and are committed to achieving high standards of Health and Safety. The application of legal requirements is the minimum level of achievement. The effective management of Health and Safety is seen as essential to all our operations and as important as any other management function. Adequate financial and physical resources will be allocated to ensuring this is achieved. The level of commitment required by OBEL of its employees for ensuring Health and Safety Promotion and Compliance is not negotiable.

OBEL’s Health and Safety management system sets out the means for the systematic planning and implementing of work activities, products and services to ensure suitable Health and Safety management arrangements are in place. It also defines the means for the effective monitoring and measuring of safety performance, and the auditing and review of the management system. OBEL’s Health and Safety policy requires the identification of relevant hazards, the assessment of foreseeable risks and the implementation of appropriate controls to prevent injury, ill health or other losses to the business as fundamental to achieving best practice and progressive safety performance.

The company identifies that a proactive Health and Safety culture is dependent on motivated staff, who have a commitment to achieving realistic objectives and a helpful attitude to continuous improvement. This requires visible and active leadership as an essential part of the promotion of good health and safety performance.

We recognise that the implementation of this policy is dependent on the establishment of effective methods of control and communication with the full co- operation of employees. All staff will have the necessary training to enable them to completely discharge their responsibilities safely and without risk to health.

Arrangements for Health and Safety will be reviewed annually. In addition, each Project Manager is required to undertake a regular review of their operations and from this, derive an action plan for Health and Safety defining objectives and targets for the duration of each project.

OBEL requires all staff, associates and contractors to comply with their statutory Health and Safety obligations and contribute to and assist with the provision of a safe and healthy working environment. All visitors are required to co-operate with the requirements of this policy.

Within OBEL we will actively promote the ethic of a duty of care to each other and to our customers, beyond that required by our statutory duties, such that our safety performance can continue to improve.
